Your Monthly Data consists of Peak, Off-Peak and Upload data allocations. If you exceed your allocated quota on any of these data allocations, your service will be shaped to 128k on all data allocations until your next billing period commences. If you wish to return to full speed before your next billing period, you can perform a plan change or purchase ADSL Data Blocks in order to become unshaped.

On top of your Peak and Off-Peak data, you will also have access to a range of unmetered content that will not count towards any of your data quotas! For more information, please visit the Unmetered Content page.

If you are transferring from another ADSL service, you may be able to perform a Rapid Transfer and should refer to the setup costs available below. Please note that not all Internet Service Providers (ISP) will support Rapid Transfer and you should contact your current ISP to find out if you are eligible.

The Wireless/VoIP Modem supplied is the Netcomm NB9WMAXX modem.

The Wireless Modem supplied is the Netcomm NB6Plus4W modem.

The Standard Modem supplied is the Netcomm NB6 modem.

Due to the nature of wireless connectivity, Adam Internet can provide technical assistance with the ADSL connection to the supplied modem/router but wireless connectivity to your individual devices cannot be supported. Service Charges
Plan Change Adam Internet offers a “value guarantee” that preserves the value of Adam Home throughout the term of your service. If at any time you find that your Adam Home plan does not meet your requirements, you can perform a plan change from your Members Services Area. For more information on plan change costs and conditions, please refer to the Plan Change table.

DSL Disconnection Fee This fee applies if your DSL service is disconnected and has been connected for less than 6 months. This fee also applies if your phone line is disconnected prior to the minimum 6 month connection of your DSL service and is payable once your DSL service is disconnected. $65
Relocation Fee A relocation fee applies if you wish to move the Adam Home service to another premises. Please note that Adam Internet cannot guarantee the availability of Naked DSL, AdamDirect or Adam Home at any residence, however Adam Internet can test ADSL availability on active phone numbers upon request. $99
AdamDirect Migration Fee This fee applies if you are on an Adam Home connection and want to change to AdamDirect. Migration is only available to eligible connections on exchanges with available ports. To find out if you are eligible for AdamDirect, visit our AdamDirect Exchanges page. $88

Potential Extras
ADSL Filter For ADSL to work at the same time as your telephone, you will require an ADSL Filter to be placed between every telephone device and the wall socket. Examples of telephone devices include Phone, Fax, Eftpos Machine & Foxtel Digital Box. The modem supplied in the Adam package includes one filter and additional Filters are easily installed but we recommend you limit the total number of filters to 4. If you require more than 4 devices to be filtered or have a monitored alarm system you may require a Central Splitter. 1 for $15

Central Splitter A Central Splitter is required if you need more than 4 telephone devices filtered or have a hard wired phone device on your line (eg. monitored alarm system). It is installed by a professional technician in your home at your convenience. Your Central Splitter cannot be installed prior to your ADSL service being provisioned. The Central Splitter provides filtering for all phone points and ensures your ADSL service achieves optimal speed.

* Costs are payable monthly in advance either by credit card or direct debit. Billing occurs on the anniversary of the activation of your Adam Home order. For example, if your connection is activated on the 7th of the month, your billing will occur on the 7th of every month thereafter.

† Customers applying for Home ADSL 256/64, 512/128 or 1500/256 services will achieve these speeds. For customers applying for Home ADSL Open, 8000k/384k is the maximum possible speed of this service. As the distance from the exchange increases, the speed will decrease accordingly. This decrease is affected by the quality of your phone line, including the internal wiring of your home. It is impossible for Adam Internet to determine the attainable speed prior to your service being active. As a general rule, we will only connect your service if your line will support 1000k or better.

‡ Downloads are counted towards your Peak quota during the hours of 8am till midnight and towards your Off-Peak during the hours of midnight till 8am. Your Upload quota is the same as your Peak and Off-Peak quotas and are not restricted to any time period. Once you have reached any of your quotas (Peak, Off-Peak or Upload), your service will be shaped to 128kbps until your next billing month. 1GB (Gigabyte) is equal to 1000MB (Megabyte); 1MB is equal to 1000KB (Kilobyte).
