| "A wireless broadband price war is helping spur a nation-beating surge in internet use in South Australia. Figures released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics yesterday show the number of internet subscribers in SA grew by 18.4 per cent to 496,000 between the end of December and the end of June, compared with a growth rate of 7.2 per cent for the nation as a whole. Wireless technology took off rapidly during the period, with the number of subscribers increasing by almost 90 per cent in six months across Australia.
