Exciting new plans launching today
Adam Internet is committed to delivering simple, easy, value for money internet. We spend time listening to what our customers want and are always working to improve our products and services. Today we are pleased to announce that we are giving our residential plans a full refresh. We will deliver three simple product suites, AdamEzyChoice, AdamSuperChoice and AdamBasicChoice. These products are designed to cater for all user groups making it even easier for our customers to select the plan that best suits their needs. These plans will be available from 4pm on Thursday 14th October 2010.
AdamEzyChoice
AdamEzyChoice plans are suitable for a wide range of users with plans starting from as little as $35 per month. Generous data allowances with no on or off peak periods means customers can access all the data they need whenever they want.
AdamEzyChoice Plans*
- AdamEzyChoice plans are available on ADSL2+ in AdamDirect enabled exchanges.
- AdamEzyChoice Bundle plans are available in ADSL2+, VDSL2, Fibre and WiMAX enabled areas.
- Only downloads are counted towards monthly data allocations. Uploads are regulated by our Acceptable Usage Policy which can be found at www.adam.com.au/legal.
For an additional $10 per month customers can bundle AdamEzyChoice with AdamTalk, a home phone service which includes $50 credit per month for untimed local and national calls. In addition, bundling ADSL2+ with AdamTalk will remove your requirement for a home phone line.
The AdamEzyChoice plans can be delivered by a number of technologies including
- ADSL2+ (standard pricing above)
- Fibre 25/2 Mbps, VDSL2 25/2 Mbps and WiMAX1 – ADD $10 (includes $50 AdamTalk credit)
- Fibre 50/4 Mbps and VDSL2 50/4 Mbps - ADD $30 (includes $50 AdamTalk credit)
- Fibre 100/8 Mbps and VDSL2 100/8 Mbps - ADD $40 (includes $50 AdamTalk credit)
1AdamEzyChoice WiMAX 4GB plan is only available for ABG eligible customers.
AdamSuperChoice
AdamSuperChoice is for the real power users who are looking for a huge data allowance each month. Customers can upgrade from selected AdamEzyChoice plans for an additional $10 per month and move onto an AdamSuperChoice plan essentially doubling their monthly quota!
AdamSuperChoice Plans**
- AdamSuperChoice plans are available on ADSL2+ in AdamDirect enabled exchanges.
- AdamSuperChoice Bundle plans are available in ADSL2+, VDSL2, Fibre and WiMAX enabled areas.
- Monthly data allowance is split 50/50 into on and off peak periods. Off-peak time is 1:00am – 9:00am. Monthly data usage is calculated by combining download and upload data.
For an additional $10 per month customers can bundle AdamSuperChoice with AdamTalk, a home phone service which includes $50 credit per month for untimed local and national calls. In addition, bundling ADSL2+ with AdamTalk will remove your requirement for a home phone line.

AdamBasicChoice
AdamBasicChoice is available to customers in SA/NT who are not connected to Adam enabled exchanges. These plans are delivered via an ADSL connection.
AdamBasicChoice Plans***
***Monthly data for AdamBasicChoice is split 50/50 into on and off peak periods. Off-peak time is 12:00am until 8:00am. Monthly data consists of peak, off-peak and upload data buckets. Upload quota equivalent to either your peak or off-peak data allowance.
Set Up Fees
The following set up fees apply to AdamEzyChoice, AdamSuperChoice and AdamBasicChoice plans (excluding WiMAX services).
The Wireless/VoIP Modem supplied is the Netcomm NB9WMAXX for ADSL2+ services and the Netcomm NB11W for VDSL2 services.
The Wireless Modem supplied is the Netcomm NB6Plus4W for ADSL2+ services and the Netcomm NP803N for Fibre services.
Standard Modem is the Netcomm NB6 ADSL2+ modem
AdamMax (WiMax) Set Up Fees
AdamTalk
AdamTalk will no longer be available as a stand-alone product. It will be available on any AdamEzyChoice and AdamSuperChoice plan as a bundled home phone service. Customers who select this option will receive $50 credit per month for untimed local and national calls.
If you currently have AdamTalk you will continue to receive current $5 monthly credit unless you upgrade to a new plan at which time you will receive the new benefit of $50 credit.
Additional information for Customers
I am an existing customer, how can I upgrade?
- Plan changes which do not include changing the technology the service is delivered on (e.g. migrating from ADSL2+ to Fibre) can be done through the Members Services Area on the Adam website or by phoning our Customer Service Centre on 08 8423 4000.
- To change to the new AdamEzyChoice, AdamSuperChoice or AdamBasicChoice plans your contract will be topped up to a minimum 12 month contract. If a customer’s contracted term is less than 12 months, their contracted term would be extended to 12 months. (e.g. if a customer has 6 months remaining it would add another 6 months). If your remaining contract term is longer than 12 months, you will be able to move to one of the new plans with no contract extension.
Customers changing the technology their connection is delivered on (e.g. changing from ADSL2+ to Fibre) will be required to start a new contract.
I have recently connected to an earlier version of the AdamEzyChoice plans, what are my options?
